New York Knicks

The New York Knicks are part of the NBA’s postseason for the first time since the 2012-13 season and earned the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. They will match up with the Atlanta Hawks in their first round series, which is set to get started on Sunday, May 23. The Knicks are relatively healthy heading into the postseason aside from their starting big man who has been out nearly two months.

With the exception of Mitchell Robinson, all other players will be at head coach Tom Thibodeau's disposal. Robinson is recovering from a foot injury and is doubtful to return this season.

Atlanta Hawks

The No. 5 seed Atlanta Hawks meet the No. 4 seed New York Knicks in the first round of the playoffs as slight favorites at -112, but this series is expected to go the distance.

Cam Reddish is not expected to be back for the remainder of the Atlanta Hawks' campaign. The young swingman is out with an Achilles problem. Reddish’s presence could have been a nice boost for the Hawks in what is expected to be a tight series.

Brandon Goodwin has been sidelined with an illness. He is out for an indefinite period.
